The project was done with a lot of meetings and dedication. We had to stay after school, meet up on breaks and even on weekends. All the events were done on school days to get the maximum attendance possible. The first two events, Ice Cream Social and the Tea Party were done at the middle school next door, Hollenbeck Middle School. The main event was done at Theodore Roosevelt High School. The way that we advertised all of our events was by making flyers. We asked an active program at Hollenbeck Middle School to post the flyers around the school. Because of these great flyers, we were able to get a good amount in both events. For the Big Event, we went around to the underclassmen and formally invited them to the event.
Our recruitment will be done before this school year is over to try to find more interested girls in our events. We want to make sure that this program continues in our school and that this isn't only a one year thing. We had to do many attempts for the program to come out just the way we wanted it to. We made sure that we knew how much time we were going to use per event. We would meet for sometimes more then 5 hours a week.
